As an open vent boiler (also known as regular, heat-only and conventional boilers), the Easi-Heat Plus 18V is ideal for homes with more than one bathroom and enough space for an additional hot water storage cylinder, as well as feed and expansion tank (these are typically installed in the attic of your home). It is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement open vent regular gas boiler, unless it is installed with an additional hot water storage cylinder, then the boiler will only be able to provide central heating.
The Easi-Heat Plus 18V is the only open vent boiler in its range, however, Vokera has also designed the Easi-Heat as a combi boiler, with output ratings of 25kW, 29kW, and 32kW as well as system boilers with output ratings of 24kW and 30kW. A combi boiler is more suitable if you have a home with limited space. On the other hand, Vokera has also designed the Mynute VHE Regular Gas Boiler with two output ratings of 15kW and 20kW.
Although you will need additional storage tanks, do not let this put you off as the boiler itself is compact and lightweight, meaning installation is quick and easy and can be installed neatly into your standard kitchen cupboard. Plus, if you have an existing regular boiler on your property already, then a replacement will be straightforward as this unit features the same standard pipework.
