The EcoTec Plus 612 system boiler has been designed to be a compact and lightweight boiler that can be installed neatly into a standard kitchen cupboard. However, it is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement system boiler, you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder which is used to store the hot water heated from the mains. Hot water cylinders are often installed in an airing cupboard or a similar size space in your home. On the plus side, a system boiler allows for the high demand for hot water whenever necessary.
With a central heating output of 12.2kW, the EcoTec Plus 612 is ideal for smaller homes with up to 10 radiators. This boiler model is the least powerful in its range, therefore, if you feel that your home requires a higher kW output for central heating and hot water, then the EcoTec Plus range also has units with outputs of up to 64kW. These outputs include the 615, 620, 625, 630, 637, the 48kW and the 64kW.
