Our Basic Plan is designed to give you peace of mind for the essential components of your heating system. Here’s what’s included:
- Annual Boiler Service: Keep your boiler running efficiently and safely with a yearly professional service.
- Boiler, Flue & Controls: We cover repairs to your boiler, the flue (which removes exhaust gases), and the essential controls that operate your boiler.
- Gas Pipework: Coverage for the gas pipework that supplies your boiler.
- Free Boiler Replacement (subject to conditions): If your boiler is deemed beyond economical repair (BER) by WarmZilla and is under 7 years old, we will provide a free replacement.
What's Not Covered in Our Basic Plan:
It's also important to understand what isn't included to ensure this is the right cover for you:
- Sludge or Scale Issues: Problems arising from the build-up of sludge or limescale within your system are not covered.
- Showers, Taps, Basins, Toilets & Baths: These sanitaryware items and their associated plumbing are not included.
- Central Heating System & Associated Heating Parts: This includes items like radiators, radiator valves, and the wider central heating pipework beyond the boiler's immediate gas supply.
- Home Electric System: Issues with your general home electrical wiring or components are not covered under this plan.
- Plumbing & Water Supply Pipe Work: General plumbing issues and the mains water supply pipes are excluded.
- Drains & Waste Pipe Work: Blockages or repairs related to your property's drainage or waste pipes are not covered.
This plan focuses on keeping your boiler and its direct connections functioning correctly. For broader home emergency or plumbing and drainage cover, you may need to consider alternative or additional plans.
