The Glow-worm Energy system boiler is designed and manufactured in the UK, with the most important parts of the hot water and heating system, such as the pump and expansion vessel already built into it. Not only does this make installation easier, but also means you get a faster response to demand for heating and hot water, and you don't need to have a feed and expansion tank in the loft as you would need for a regular boiler.
System boilers are great for those homes that have a high demand for both central heating and hot water. Mains water is heated and stored into a separate hot water storage tank. However, this does mean that you will need to have the extra space in your home for an additional tank when purchasing a new or replacement system boiler. For this reason, we don’t recommend them for smaller homes with limited space.
