The Energy 30 regular boiler has an output of 30kW, which is the most powerful model in its range. However, many homes do not require this output for hot water and central heating. If your home has a lesser demand, the Glow-worm Energy 12kW, 15kW, 18kW and 25kW regular gas boilers are also available.
It is important to note when purchasing a new or replacement regular boiler that you will need to accommodate space in the attic for an additional cold water storage tank, a feed, and an expansion tank that is usually fitted in the attic. You will also need to have a hot water storage tank, that is typically installed in an airing cupboard. For this reason, regular boilers are not recommended for homes with limited space.
