With an output of 15kW, this regular gas boiler is one of the least powerful in its range, however, it is powerful enough to heat a home with up to 10 radiators and a bathroom. If you feel that you require a higher demand for heating and hot water, Glow-worm has also designed the Energy Regular 18kW, 25kW, and 30kW. Meanwhile, the 12kW is also available for those with lesser demand.
It is important to note that when buying a new or replacement regular boiler that you will need to accommodate space in the loft for an additional cold water storage cistern, as well as a hot water cylinder, which is typically located in an airing cupboard. For this reason, we don’t recommend a regular gas boiler for homes with limited space.
On the other hand, regular gas boilers are perfect for homes that require a high demand for hot water and central heating, as the hot water is stored when needed.
