The Megaflo 24 sits at the middle of the range with regards to power, with an output rating of 24kW. This kW output is the perfect choice for a small to medium-sized home with up to 15 radiators and a bathroom.
The Baxi Megaflo system boiler range has 5 boiler options with outputs from 15kW to 32kW. Therefore, if your home requires a higher demand for central heating and hot water, the option for a 28kW or 32kW system boiler is available. The 15kW or 18kW is also available for homes that don’t require such high demand.
It is important to note when purchasing a new or replacement system boiler, that you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water cylinder in your home, which is typically installed in an airing cupboard or a similar sized space.
Although system boilers require more space, they are ideal for homes that require a high demand for instant hot water. This is because they are supplied with cold water directly from the mains, this water is then heated and stored in a hot water cylinder, ready to be used when needed.
