The Baxi Megaflo 18 system boiler is a highly efficient system boiler with an efficiency rating of 91% and an ErP A-rating for central heating, meaning that this system boiler could potentially help you to reduce your energy bills, depending on your current boilers efficiency rating.
It is important to note that when purchasing a new or replacement system boiler you will need to accommodate an additional hot water cylinder which is typically installed in an airing cupboard or a similar size space in your home.
Although system boilers require more space, they are ideal for homes that require a high demand for instant hot water. This is because they are supplied with water from the mains, the water is then heated and then stored in a hot water tank, ready for when needed.
As well as this 18kW model, the Megaflo range also includes outputs of 24kW, 28kW, and 32kW, which may be better suited to your home if it has a higher demand for heating and hot water. The 15kW is also available for homes with lesser demand.
