The Baxi 800 system boiler range has 2 boiler models with outputs of 18kW and 24kW.
Although this particular model, the 818 is the least powerful of the two, it is powerful enough to heat a small home with up to 10 radiators and one main bathroom. However, if you feel that the 18kW unit doesn't meet your heating and hot water demands, then a 24kW model is also available.
When purchasing a new or replacement system boiler, you will need to accommodate for an additional hot water tank. This is typically located in an airing cupboard or a similar size space in your home. Despite needing an additional tank, the boiler unit itself is compact and lightweight, the perfect size to fit in your standard kitchen cupboard, so the boiler is out of sight, out of mind.
System boilers are ideal for homes with a high demand for instant hot water, this is because, once the water from the mains is heated in the boiler, it is then stored in a sealed hot water storage tank, ready to be used when needed.
