Although the Baxi 816 is the least powerful in the 800’s regular boiler range, with an output of 16kW, it is still powerful enough to heat a home with up to 10 radiators and a bathroom. However, if your home requires a higher demand for central heating and instant hot water, the Baxi 825 (output of 25kW) or the Baxi 830 (output of 30kW) may be more suitable.
When purchasing a new or replacement heat-only boiler, you will need to make sure you have extra room for a hot water storage tank, which is usually located in an airing cupboard of your home, as well as a cold water tank and a feed, that is installed in the attic. For this reason, if you have a smaller home with limited space, you may want to consider the Baxi 800 combi or system boiler range, as they take up less space in your home.
On the other hand, if space is not an issue in your home, then a regular boiler could be the perfect model of boiler for you, as it provides instant hot water for both your radiators and bathrooms simultaneously.
