The Baxi 624 is the most powerful system boiler in the 600 range, with an output of 24kW. This is powerful enough to heat a smaller to medium-sized home with up to 15 radiators and one main bathroom. For smaller homes with lesser demand for instant hot water, the Baxi 615 and Baxi 618 are available.
System boilers are ideal for homes with a high demand for instant hot water as they store the heated water in a storage tank, ready for when you need it. However, it is important to note that you will need to accommodate for this additional hot water tank in your home if you are considering buying a new or replacement system boiler. These are usually installed in the airing cupboard or a similar-sized space in your home.
The important parts of the system are pre-built into the boiler with system boilers, helping to make them more compact and easier to install and service.
Due to needing this additional hot water storage tank, system boilers are not recommended for homes with limited space. On the plus side, the Baxi 600 range is also available as a combi boiler for smaller homes.
