The Baxi 400’s range has five regular boilers with a range of different outputs between 12kW and 30kW. The Baxi 424 heat only being one of the more powerful boilers in the range, with an output of 24kW for central heating. This regular gas boiler is powerful enough to heat a home with up to 20 radiators and one bathroom.
If your home has a higher demand for both central heating and hot water, Baxi has designed the Baxi 430 regular gas boiler, with an output of 30kW, which is perfect for larger homes. If your home has less than 20 radiators, then the Baxi 412, 415 or 418 may be better suited to your home.
Regular boilers are ideal for families that require instant hot water, however, they are not recommended for smaller homes with limited space. This is because they need an additional hot water storage cylinder, which is typically installed in an airing cupboard of your home. You will also need a feed and expansion tank, which are usually located in the attic of your home.
However, if space is not an issue in your home, the boiler unit itself is compact and lightweight meaning that it can be installed nice and neatly into your standard kitchen cupboard, out of sight, out of mind.
