The Baxi 215 is one of the least powerful heat-only boilers in the 200’s range, with an output of 15kW, however, this boiler can still heat a small property with up to 10 radiators and a bathroom. If your home has a higher demand for both central heating and hot water, the Baxi 218, 224, and 230 regulars boilers are also available that may be more suitable for your home.
Regular boilers are ideal for family homes that have a high demand for instant hot water. This is because regular boilers are supplied with cold water directly from the mains, which is then stored in a cold water tank in the attic of your home. When hot water is needed, this cold water is then heating in the unit and used. The remaining unused hot water is then stored in a hot water cylinder to use when needed.
However, it is important to note, that if your home has limited space, regular boilers are not recommended. On the plus side, the Baxi 200 range is also available as a combi boiler for smaller homes.
